We are from Switzerland and stay 2 times a year in FL. It was not possible to find Nussgipfel in our area. The dough so light and fluffy. The filling is more US oriented with the cinnamon (no cinnamon in it in Switzerland. I do not really prefer cinnamon (4 star) but its ok. Thx Swiss Bakery / favorites. PS: Filling with almond like the Biberfladen would be great.
A bit on the large and doughy side for my taste, but the filling is absolutely first rate. I'd recommend "baking" these for a few minutes even if you didn't freeze them. It makes the dough so light and fluffy and puts the flavor of the filling on overdrive. (Allow time to prepare, supplied frosting needs to be applied by customer)
