    Whenever I was in Switzerland, this would be my go to breakfast and or/snack. I often bought these on the train and enjoyed it with strong black coffee. When I saw The Swiss Bakery had them in stock, well, I ordered A LOT! My father is also from Appenzell, so these treats are very special to me.

    The Appenzeller Barli Biberli are delicious, if you like marzipan it is a real treat. Never disappointed having one of these.
