Description

Vacherin Fribourgeois is a hearty and potent Swiss cow's milk cheese with a semi-soft to firm texture, depending on age. Vacherin Fribourgeois is an "old fashioned" Vacherin with an uneven, craggly rind and harsh edges. Its taste is nutty with the perfume of fresh-cut hay. The flavors increase when smoothly melted which makes it irreplicable for Fondue!

    The Vacherin arrived so very fresh that the cheese was a slight cream color and so delicious!! We make our own blend of moitie moitie fondue and the freshness of the Vacherin is vital. You all never disappoint!! We will order again next Fall.

    It was the first time in a few years that I had again the Vacherin Fribourgeois and it was such a treat. I will not let some much time lapse before reordering it. This is absolutely a all time favorite. So tasty and melting in your mouth. Love it

    We are 2 times in a year in Florida. Over all time we have products from Swissfavorites. All products are on its best. This cheese is softer and creamier as a hard cheese. But the taste ist excellent and melt in the mouth. Thx Swiss Favorites.

    First time I tied the vacherin fribourgeois since being in the US and I realize that how much I miss not having it in years. Delicious .

    For me the Vacherin tastes quite strong, for Markus the cheese tastes mild.
