Delicious perfect made just like at home in der Schweiz ??

Taste is ok but would welcome more filling

I like that the crust crisped up on this in less than 10 minutes in the toaster oven. It is both sweet and tangy. Heavy on thepear flavor. I enjoyed it but I’m not sure I enjoyed it enough to order again. My son loved it though and may be placing his own order. So many other things to try on this website!

I have been sending birenweggen to my family at Christmas for a few years now. My aunt always says how it is just like "Doty" (her father, my grandfather) made. My grandfather emigrated from Canton Schwyz in the very early 1930s. and brought his recipes with him. He found work as a baker in the San Franciso area where he made Birenweggen, among other treats. Growing up, we enjoyed his creations at Christmas time. We hadn't had true birenweggen for many years. How special to find it here at "Swiss Favorites" and perfectly prepared and baked!

It's the "real McCoy" from the days of growing up in a Swiss household. I don't know the Schweitzer Deutsch translation for McCoy, aber es ist zerr güt! Primo!

SF you outdid yourself, fantastic product, really special

We are from Switzerland and stay 2 times a year in FL. You can not find such an excellent Birenweggen in FL. It‘s better than at home. The taste, filling are excellent and very special. We like the bread, Biberfladen, Walnut tart, hazelnut croissant, etc. too. It‘s like home and it‘s a pleasure to have such delicious items far away from home, so we can enjoy our longer stay. Swiss Bakery you are doing a great job. Thx for the fine stuff. Merry Christmas and a happy 2022.
