Cervelat/Knackwursts are cooked sausages made of pork and beef. Everybody likes them as "Wurstsalat" or as a snack between meals with a piece of fresh bread, in a sandwich with mayonnaise and mustard. Of course, they taste fabulous from the grill, especially when carved.Produced in the United States

    Being from Switzerland and having spent a big part of my life there, iI have eaten a lot of them over there. The quality and Tast are absolutely identical, but shape and size are not. some are longer, others thicker and do not seem to be the same weight.

    To my taste, these are a little too acid and skin is fairly tough compared to Binkert's Cervelat. However, still the second best choice I had in over 30 years living in the US.

    Great taste, very thin skin and no artificial ingredients! We made a Gypsy salad (Cervelats and cheese) with two of them and it tasted much the same as we remember it from Switzerland.

    Cervelat tastes just like the kind my husband's mom served him growing up. We are so excited to have found authentic Cervelat in the US. Cheese was excellent, haven't made it to our other knockwurst yet, but I anticipate being equally impressed. Thanks.
