Description

Cervelat/Knackwursts are cooked sausages made of pork and beef. Everybody likes them as "Wurstsalat" or as a snack between meals with a piece of fresh bread, in a sandwich with mayonnaise and mustard. Of course, they taste fabulous from the grill, especially when carved.Produced in the United States

    It's almost impossible to find sausages that taste like the 'real' Swiss Cervelats many of us are used to from back 'home'. These are indeed very good ones. A bit smaller than what we are used to from Switzerland but tasting great.

    Finally tried this Cervelats and found them to be excellent. Made a good old Wurst salad and enjoyed it so much that I will shortly do that again!

    Congratulation: This second order of cervelat is perfect. The texture and the seasoning is out standing. The best Cervelat I purchased here in the states.

    The cervelat is perfect in its texture, The seasoning does not quite have the taste like the one you get in Switzerland. I can't put the finger on it what it is. There might be too much of something or not enough of an other thing. But over all it is the best I purchased here in the states. I have not tried the Olma and Bratwurst yet. ************************************************ Comment from SwissFavorites: we are aware of the seasoning issue and just this week received a batch which is newly formulated for us Swiss. Please try it out and comment back. If you don't like it i will reimburse your cost, all of it. Walter

    This is my second order of the Servelat. The only complaint I had on my first order was a little to much pepper. And they listened and adjusted the recipe !!! Thank you very much, now this is as good maybe even better that the best Servelat I have ever eaten.

    This is the real thing - an authentic cervelat! So delicious and it brings back so many memories of wonderful suppers with family in my home in Switzerland.

    I wish I could give 5 stars but on this one there is way to much pepper in it. Maybe and hopefully it is only this batch I bought. It was ok for Wurscht-Käsesalat but no good for a Waldfest (eating raw with bread) ******************************************** Sir, we hear you loud and clear. It is our intention to sell an authentic Servelat and the butcher agreed to lower the pepper in our sausage. Please check back and let us know how we are doing.
