Description

This cheesy delicacy is named after Saint Gallus, the founder of the St. Gallen monastery. According to the archives of the world-famous St. Gallen Abbey Library, the friars were producing cheese according to strict guidelines and a stringent purity requirement already set in place in 1565. Hardeggers Gallus Grand Cru was even selected as the best semi-hard cheese in the world at the World Cheese Championship in Madison, USA at the beginning of March 2020! So you HAVE to taste it!

    I like this cheese. Very good taste. Strong but not to spicy, more smooth.. Order it 2 times a year when we spend the snow bird part in FL. Thx Swissfavorites for the good products and excellent service.

    Didn’t know this cheese but already addicted. Actually I love most of the Swiss Cheeses, always have some in the fridge
