Läckerli Huus Basler Läckerli [300g]

These Leckerli are exactly the Basler Leckerlihuus treats I miss from growing up in Switzerland. Every year my family and I look forward to this Christmas treat and are never disappointed! Please: never stop making them available to us Swiss Expats! Thank you!

Each Christmas, growing up in the 1960s, a friend from Basel, Switzerland would always send my family a tin of lakerli. When I grew up, I was unable to find any of these delicious cookies anywhere. Thank goodness for the internet that led me to you. These conveniently priced cookies now bring memories back to all my siblings when they get a package from me each year. Thank you.

The cookies arrived perfectly, very well packaged, and are delicious.

Basler Lackerli are a tremendous treat to have on hand for guests. Wonderful slightly tangy spices and licorice flavors. Definitely brightens up any occasion or just the day if you are alone.

Have ordered these before and have thoroughly enjoyed them. My recipe is really close to these. The only problem is the same as what I've read on many other reviews is the very HIGH cost of shipping. As we say on the website, smaller packages cost dis-proportionally more than larger ones. What we cannot see ourselves doing is increase the product price to a level where we can offer free shipping. They are the best Läckerlis existing!!

We have ordered the Basler Lackerli several times and are never disappointed. They are just as we remember my grandmother's offerings during the holidays. Our only complaint is that the shipping charges are so high. If we weren't purchasing as a special gift for my 98 year old Dad we likely wouldn't bother, considering the high cost of shipping.

These Laeckerli are great quality and every bit as delicious as you can get in Switzerland. I am a Swiss miss, so I know! My family and I are so glad to have access to the flavors of home stateside. No more having to wait for a trip to Switzerland to enjoy our favorites! We will be 'frequent flyers'.
