Dense medium rye bread with a sour rye taste. Excellent for grilled reubens or ham & cheese sandwiches.

    My sisters visited last week and were wonderfully delighted by the toasted rye. We lived in Germany as children and we all know how different the bread is there. Give it a try!

    This bread is out of this world and many of my friends and neighbors say the same. It has great flavor and good quality. Crusty exterior with sour dense interior, just perfect. I will definitely buy this bread again. Thank you Swiss Bakery you made my day with providing such great products!

    great product, ships well and freezes beautifully (even when sliced). Shipping cost is worth the time and tolls to drive there. Definitely reminds me of the way bread is made in "the old country." Yum
